WHAT IS 24-7 PUMPHOUSE

24-7 pumphouse is a grassroots movement of love-sick followers of Jesus. Our desire is to see an entire generation ignited with passion for Jesus that is expressed in extravagant worship, fervent prayer, and another volunteer missions movement to see the completion of the great commission.

WHY WORSHIP, PRAYER AND MISSION

In John 15:16, Jesus tells us that we are appointed to bear fruit that lasts. This lasting fruit comes from a life that is lived abiding in Him and letting His word abide in us. The practicals of a life lived this way are saturated with worship and prayer that is rooted and grounded in the revelation of Jesus Christ given to us by God through His word. The natural overflow of this kind of saturated life is a missional life. We serve a God who left His home and heaven to seek and save that which was lost. As followers of Jesus who have identified with His heart for the world, we too are on a mission to seek and save the lost.

Psalm 24:1-2 tells us that the whole earth and everyone on it belong to God. He is the creator and all of creation rightfully belongs to Him. This includes you and me. It is from a place of understanding that God has a right to what belongs to Him that we go into the nations and declare the Gospel to those who have not heard.

Revelation 5:12-13 tell us that Jesus is worthy to receive power, riches, wisdom, strength, honor, glory and blessing and that a day will come when every creature in heaven and earth will gladly offer all to Him.
This same Jesus, in John 17:24 declares the desire of His heart that we would be with Him and that we would see His glory. It is so incredible to know that the creator and savior of the world has a burning heart of desire to invite us in to His very presence and reveal Himself to us. This is not a far off event that we have to look forward to. We can now, in part, begin to “be with Him where He is” today. The invitation to us to come and be with Jesus is too big of an invitation to ignore. That is the fuel for radical lives of worship and prayer. The great reward of a life that is lived in the way Jesus tells us to is Jesus Himself. He is the treasure hidden in a field, He is the pearl of great price. He truly is the most valuable being in the world and we would be foolish not to respond to His loving invitation to come and be with Him and tell others of what He has done.

Statement of Faith

We believe the Bible to be the only inspired, infallible, and authoritative Word of God. We believe there is one God eternally existent in three persons: The Father, Son and Holy Spirit. We believe in the deity of Jesus, God’s only son, his virgin birth, his sinless life, his miracles, his atoning death on the cross, his bodily resurrection, and in his second coming to earth in power and glory. We believe in the present ministry of the Holy Spirit by whose indwelling believers in Christ are enabled to live a godly radical life. We believe in the active baptism of fire released in Acts 2 and its daily importance to the life of the believer. We believe in the resurrection of both the saved and the lost; the saved to the resurrection of eternal life and the lost unto the resurrection of eternal judgment.

24-7 Pumphouse is a ministry of YWAM Tyler. YWAM Tyler is one of Youth With A Missions largest training centers. YWAM Tyler’s main campus is located 6 miles west of the city of Lindale in east Texas. YWAM Tyler’s goal is to mobilize young people to fulfill the great commission. The three emphasis of the ministry of YWAM Tyler consist of training, evangelism, and mercy ministries. It is our God given pleasure to train and challenge young people to lay down their rights for the sake of Christ and take the message of the Gospel to the nations of the earth.
